No Point In Hiding

The soothing sounds of the lake brought a gentle breeze around the grass. At times like these the boy would get confused on what was reality, and what was a picture.

Illusions, a fragment of someone's desire.

"You're little ace team are nothing but wannbe messing around with our real work."

"Tch." the boy with black seme-spiky hair gritted his teeth.

He wasn't angry nor in a fit of rage.

He was just upset, and trying to hold back his tears.

"Trefer?"

As gentle as the breeze, as harmonic as the waves, that darling voice snapped him back to the here and now.

Out of reflex the boy hid in the shadows.

"You know, theirs no point in hiding I already saw you~" The brunette with dark blue gloves and caramel colored ponytail giggled and looked at where she believed Trefer was hiding.

The boy felt banging his head against the tree, he slowly walked out of the shadows, his body taking normal appearance. A dark purple shirt with a black vest and blue jeans. His brown eyes matched her cameral hair. Around his neck was a crystal gem necklace.

Every time the female would see it sparkle under the sun, she would smile, being reminded of that day way back then. The day she had saved him from that car. The day they became friends.

"Daniel… can I ask you something..?"

She smiled and brought Trefer to sit down with her at the nearby bench. "Of course fire away!"

He wondered if it was safe, would she get offended? But he wanted to know, and you trusted her to tell him.

"You're a shape shifter… and a girl, and some girls are insecure about… how they look."

He wouldn't be surprised if she slapped him, hated him, after all in a way he was insulting her. "So uh.. You never change the way you look.. So uhh… I don't know, your not like that… I was wondering why…?" he shut his eyes and waited for the worse.

He then heard laughing, a kind gentle laughter. "You aren't the first one to have asked me that. Avira had asked me it once, though you said it nicer then she had." Daniel sweat dropped at the memory and shook her head.

"Daniel?" the redhead poked the arm of shape shifter. "I wanted to know something."

"Okay. Shoot." she was sitting down taking a break from her latest project.

"Avira bowed slightly and then took a breath adjusting her scarf. "If you are a shape shifter, and of course a commoner, why haven't you used your abilities to make your self one of those brainless females in the modeling shows?" Daniel sweat dropped at her question and stood up slowly to look at Avira straight in the eye.

"There's no point in hiding. I told you this already ahaha" she smiled gently looking up at the sky. "This is me, this is who I am." she got stood up and looked at the sitting down slightly confused Trefer.

She placed her hand on her heart and closed her eyes slightly. "This is my heart, this is my soul, this is my body, that I can control."

As the river breeze passed her by, making her cameral hair fluttered in the wind, Trefer just stared at her. He had always found her beautiful, and he was attached to her personality, and he wondered why was she different then most girls. He didn't have a problem with that, in fact he loved that, but he still wondered about it.

"This is my face, it has everything anyone needs, these are my eyes, so that I can see."

Daniel had open her eyes took a step closer to Trefer, he locked their gazes, how he wish he can just stare at them all day, how he wished those eyes would not be so blind and sees the strong feelings he hold for her. It was a light blue Celestica color, how he loved that color.

"I have ears and a nose, to listen and breath, it's all we really need." Trefer haven't noticed the closing distance between them, though he felt more warmer, he thought it was only because of how she was staring at him.

The pursed her lips and then place a finger on her lips. "And these are my lips… that I use to kiss~"

"E-eh?"

Catching the black haired male off guard. She placed her lips roughly on his having n experience what so ever. The male turned an impossible color of scarlet, he did not stop the kiss either, he felt the brunette moving her legs to the his sides resting next to his thighs. He felt her warm hand slowly run down his neck.

And down to his chest, feeling his fasten heart beat. Trefer decided to make the most of this little innocent kiss she had started. He decided to use her words and stop hiding his feelings for her. His right hands slowly snaked around her waist bringing her closer to his body heat, as his left hand was on her cheek moving up to her chin knowing they had to stop this before anything else.

The brunette stared at the shadow male. She panted a bit and wondered what she should say next, Trefer knew the only thing coming out his mouth was endless stutters.

"Trefer…"

He looked up at her locking their gaze gulping hard feeling anxious and nervous about what she would say next.

She placed her other hand on her own heart. "And this is my heart," she palced her hand on top of her other that was already resting on Trefer's beating heart. "That I would like to give to you."

This park is where it all began for the two. How they met and became friends.

"I-… I love you too." Trefer looked to he side unable to keep the scarlet blush off his pale skinned face. Daniel smiled and was about to get off him.

"Now I never said I loved you Trefer."

"Eh-eh? B-but..!" he looked completely horrified and scared half to death. The brunette just giggled she was seme-off of him with one leg on the ground and was working on the other. "Don't panic! Just because I never said it, doesn't mean it's not how I feel."

A blank stare appeared on Trefer's face, he wondered where she had gained her teasing ability since clearly this was the first time he's seen it. Out of impulse and will to get his revenge for the near death experience, he snaked his arms around her legs and picked her up bridal style to the air.

"Uwah! Trefer! When did you become so bold?"

The male only chuckled a bit, slightly shocked himself. "I… have my moments~"

There really is no point in hiding, who you are, who you want to be, how you feel and well, there's just no point in hiding.
